Bobo and Little Elephant Puppet

Elephants often show up in idioms,
for they always watch where they put their bottoms.

Bobo Wants A Puppet Too

As she saw Betsyjean79's Pepper, I have to knit her something too.
The penguin isn't as cute as I hoped, but Bobo is easy to please.

Yarn Test

'Sock' yarn from Germary.
Bobo sends her love to
betsyjean79.

Practising Standing

It took us the whole morning persuding her to stand...

New Toy

knit_purr knitted me an orange top (she's not sure whether she likes my orange eyes yet). 4 ply yarn is really bulky for me.

She also knitted me a clown doll.

Bobo

He thought I was going to die (which turned out to be just reflux oesophagitis)......
.......a long story.......

The important thing is, I finally got my prima girl.
We decided to call her Bobo, and she's so shy.

(outfit was knitted before from Knitty pattern, Rowan cotton)

One Skein Shrug

It's a gift for a super slim friend.

Knitted upside down from neck, quite straight forward, no sewing needed, that's the coolest part!

Cable - Going On

This design, going on, SLOWLY.

Takes Ages...

MARTHA from 'Rowan Studio Issue 2'

I fell in love with this design, without knowing it was such a time-consuming project.

It took me AGES to finish only the back piece. I'm green-eyed with jealousy to see some people have finished it successfully and easily, I just hope I have enough courage to finish the front pieces, let alone the botton/neck band knitted with even smaller needles!

Growing Bamboo

It's Sirdar Just Bamboo. All the way from far east, bamboo is so in this year.

According to Filati, bamboo yarn offers many advantages, such as 'naturally breathing', 'resistant to UV', '100% biologically decomposable', 'neither wrinkle nor peel off'.

It is HEAVENLY SOFT, if only you could touch it from this picture; and it grows quickly!

Klaralund for Me

I've been fancying a 'Japanese' style top for a long time, and finally knitted one myself, only too late for spring. (Still unblocked.)

As I'm always a 'tight' knitter, and NEVER CHECK GAUGE (!!!), I chose a bigger size. It IS a bit big for me, but I kinda like it that way.

Pattern: Klaralund from "Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton Hand Knitting Collection 2"
Yarn: Noro Silk Garden 211

Knitted Years Ago...

Love the tiny bootees!

I know it's a bit tight, but I'm still carrying some holiday weight!

They say this is how ladies walk, but I just can't see where I'm going!

Spring Show

Po thinks orange, frill and lace are very in this spring.

Light and Shadow

Not an artistic photograph, just an interesting moment.

Long Long Time Ago...

It was an afternoon 3 years ago, I sewed little pieces of cloth together to make a miniature bed spread. It has never been used since then - my only patch work trial.

If it's not so time-consuming, I shall make more to use as coasters.

Go Bathing

etsyjean79, he wants to go as well!!

I couldn't knit him a bath puff, so cut a piece of sponge instead. :-)

Another spring baby's on the way (he/she is expected to be about 10lbs)!!!

You Know What It Is

Yes, I too, can't resist the temptation.

I'm always the last one to knit a fashionable pattern, the reason is so simple - I don't trust my knitting skills. I have to wait, wait, wait until others have successfully done it, then carefully give it a go...

This 'capecho' thing is so pretty and different, hopefully I will manage.

Little Snowman

He won't like warm winters.

Pink Po

Old dress really, but new for her.

Feather and Fan ---- Unblocked

Pattern: Feather and Fan Comfort Shawl

Yarn: Twilleys Freedom Spirit

It's too big to stay in a picture. ^_^

I'm not a big fan of triangular shawls, but the pattern is easy enough for me to have a try, although I almost gave up in the middle (the rows became longer and longer and unbearably longer...)

Warm Up

Cabled wrist warmers, hope she will like them!

All About Squares

Argosy from Knitty, such a pleasant pattern!

Knitted with Debbie Bliss Merino DK.

You Forgot Your Spoon!

Thanks for the multicolour thread.

And yes that's a fingertip which holds the spoon, I find it difficult to tell in this picture.

Embroidered on 6cm X 8cm calico, with THOUSANDS of french knots (the only stitch I can perform).

It's a ... Baby!

Becks refuses to know the sex of her baby beforehand, it's impossible to predict whether it's 'blue' or 'pink'.

I think this colour is safe for either.

Knitted with Alpaca.

-------------------------

UPDATE:

The baby has arrived!!! 10:15 am Friday 23rd Feb. 07. A girl!

Her name is Phoebe, yes, PHOEBE!!

Little Top -- Yes, I Said 'LITTLE'

This was knitted long long time ago.

The pattern was passed onto me from a local Doll's House Club member, I used 1 ply wool and changed the collar a bit (because I really couldn't figure it out from the pattern).

I love the 'cable' on the front. :-)

Knitted for Swap

I knitted the red mittens for TinyHaus (an artist in Seattle) to do an exciting swap. And I think it would be nice to have a matching purse, so here it is.

I'm glad to know that they've settled down well across the ocean.

Let's Knit, Shall We?

Yes they are just normal pins.

The needles I use to knit miniatures are no thicker than these, just much longer.

Flared Lace Smoke Ring

Heartstrings' pattern. I did not do as many repeats as the pattern calls for, since I prefer a 'neck warmer' thing more than a hood.

Hand Maiden Lace Silk (pure silk), Rose Garden shade (a friend's leftovers, it took me ages to rewind the yarn).

The colour looks paler in the picture than in real life.

My First Hand Carved Stamp

Carved yesterday on eraser. I do need a 'v-shaped' knife.

Given that I don't have any proper equipment, I'm quite satisfied with the result.

:-)

Actually I made them years ago (with Fimo).

Still look fresh, don't they?

Crinoline Lady Tea Cozy ---- Well, Not the Prettiest one...

I can't help feeling sorry for her. Poor thing, it looks as if she could do with some make-up.

(The green ring on her arms is her muff, in case it's difficult to tell. And there are openings on both sides of her skirt for spout and tea pot handle.)
