Good Night

Go to sleep now close your eyes

Try to think of tomorrow

All of us wish you good night

So I'm switching off the lights

One more hug

One more smile

Kiss you once

Kiss you twice

I will be here for a while

Try to sleep now & close your eyes

Perhaps in May

She dreams of the country

her eyes go far away.

She wishes for flowers

He says, "Perhaps in May."

A Bunny Looking Tomato

From: Daily Express (Monday August 14 2006)

What's this in pensioner David Maber's garden? It looks like a rabbit - but it's a tomato. It's got a bunny's floppy ears and took 76-year-old Mr Maber and wife Audrey completely by surprise when they went to check on how their home - grown crop was developing.

Now their neighbours in Gosport, Hants, want to know what they have been feeding it. Mr Maber said: 'It's just so realistic. We've all had a good giggle about it.'

Cape Comes Back into Fashion

Cape, cloak, shrug, pocho, bolero... You name this vintage fashion.

Don't know whether I will look good in a cape, but I doubt it will help me fly.

BTW: Will Superman crash if his cape falls off??

Dutch Baby

A Dutch Baby Pancake is a sweet breakfast dish similar to Yorkshire Pudding. Unlike Yorkshire Pudding it is made with butter rather than beef drippings. It is served with the same toppings found on pancakes although due to the fat content, it is generally not topped with additional butter.

Here are some receipes for Dutch Baby.

If Cats Are So Your Thing…

... then you would like them: the two websites I check out regularly for a good laugh.

A. 'Suff on My Cat'

Do you like piling clothes or whatsoever onto your cat? You are not alone ----

stuff + cat = awesome

B. CatPrin - a tailor for cats

It's a Japanese website (with English version)

She (I think it's 'she') even provided the step by step instruction of 'Dress-You-Cat-Up':

1. Dress her up. Cheer or yell, do whatever you like to enjoy the moment with your family.
2. After you are enough with your joy, take a photo! Take some poses and leave her some cute photos!
3. Remove her clothes and give her a hub, say "Thank you!"

Tiny Tea

I'm sending you love and tea,

To warm your winter's day.

Think of me as you pour your cup

And all the good things we would say.

Daddy's Little Girl

You're the end of the rainbow,

my pot of gold.

You're daddy's little girl,

to have and hold.

Mini Outfit

A little girl went home with the new dress on

She was happy just humming a song

When things don't seem to be going your way

Just remember to smile and have a nice day

How to Spoil A Girl

Some gifts you hold in your hand,

Some you hold in your heart.

You made my day very beautiful,

my heart very glad.

Thanks just doesn't seem like enough...

The Tearaway Tabby That Caused £7,000 Cat-astrophe

Daily Express Thursday June 22 2006 By Jo Willey

Mani poses in his hoody top

Mani the tabby has left his owners tearing their hair out after he went on a 12-month crime spree that left them £7,000 out of pocket.

Damage-waiver claws

Hugo Boss suit £500
Sofa £1,500
Carpet £600
2 Paul Smith shirt £240
Pair of Patrick Cox shoes £175
Set of vases £300
Leather kitchen stools £400
Four calla lilies £280
Wine glasses £120
Vets' bills and other household damage £2,885
Total £7,000

And it seems Mani is even trying to take over his street - he has often been left nursing war wounds, including a claw embedded in his head, from launching attacks on other cats.

And if all that was not quite enough, he has taken to raiding neighbours' houses - on one occasion he sneaked through a cat flap and stle a small bean bag.

Now owners Matt McLean, 28, and Katie Richards, 31, of surbiton, Surrey, never leave anything out and have no expensive ornaments. They have even put doors in their once open-plan flat to curb his madness. Marketing executive Katie said: 'He was really sweet when we first got him. But we started letting him out and he has been a terror since.

'He's like the little thug terrorising the street. We always joke that he is going through his teen years, his early adolescence and that he will grown out of it.

'We just don't know what we are going to come home to. I imagine it is like having little children. We have to hide everything all the time.

'He's a thief as weel. We keep coming home and finding loads of toys that aren't his. Our neighbours have two bigger cats but whenever they sees Mani they scarper. He's had about three big fights.

'He's a real handful at the moment. But we would never dream of getting rid of him. He's really affectionate, which makes up for it.'

Mani's story comes after a study by pet insurance provider Petplan revealed a surge in 'animal yobbery'.

Mani shows his softer side as he relaxes at home with owner Katie Richards

A Clown's Blessing

May your nose be red and shiny, And your smile always bright.

May your cheeks be nice & rosy, Your eyes sparkle in the light.

May your shoes be always too big, Your costume be perma-pressed,

Your heart overflow with laughter, Every time your clown is dressed.
